Game version checked: 1.0.10 (19 August 2026 patch). Assembled from pages already on this site — no new claims about her kit.
Theresia is the only hero in DragonSword: Awakening who can start a Bleed chain, and this site cannot tell you who finishes one. That sentence is the whole page in miniature: an unusually well-attested hero attached to an unusually empty archetype.

Sole applier, and what that costs
Our ailment coverage page inverts the roster and counts appliers per ailment. Bleed returns exactly one: Theresia. She shares that status with Castella on Break and Ornette on Shock — three ailments, three heroes, no redundancy anywhere.
The practical reading is the one that page gives: if you have not spent a Fate's Invitation on her, no other hero in the game opens a Bleed-triggered Signal for you. There is no substitute and no partial coverage.
She is not a one-ailment hero, though. The roster page records Bleed and Stun for her, and Stun is the roster's most crowded ailment with four appliers — Lute, Castella, Theresia and Kalien. That second label is what makes her flexible: she can sit in a Stun-based team as a normal member and still carry the only Bleed access on the roster as a bonus.
The archetype with nobody on the other end
Our team archetypes comparison grades Bleed as partial — one applier named, no full lineup. It says out loud that this site cannot tell you who her second and third teammates should be, and calls that a genuine gap rather than an oversight.
That is a real problem under the loop our combat guide describes. A Signal Skill arms when a specific ailment lands; if nothing on your team responds to Bleed, her Bleed does nothing except tick. The archetype page's advice for a player who already has her built is to go in aware of exactly that, and to distrust any site publishing a confident three-hero "Bleed team" list.
Unconfirmed: which heroes respond to Bleed. No page on this site names one, and Hound13 has published no Signal-to-ailment chart. The combat guide is explicit that you find a hero's trigger by reading their skill text in game — for Bleed specifically, that is not optional advice, it is the only method available.
[Inquisition], and the patch that stopped cancelling it
The roster page records her fighting with dual sacred maces as a Heretic Inquisitor, with an [Inquisition] state — one of three named hero states on the roster, alongside Kalsion's [Royal Flame] and Sion's placed Relic.
All three appear in the same patch entry, and it is the most useful piece of play information this site holds about her. Per our patch notes page, patch 1.0.8 (7 August) fixed four bugs that all traced to a single input — dashing by holding the dodge key — and one of the four was that input ending Theresia's [Inquisition] mid-combat.
If you are playing on anything earlier than 1.0.8 and your state keeps dropping for no visible reason, that is the cause, and patching is the fix rather than rebuilding her. 1.0.9 (13 August) separately fixed her Hero Quest alongside Dana's.
The one Awakening effect this site can name
Our Awakening system guide establishes six Awakening levels per hero, each costing a Stigma Awakened Stone at 200 Fragments of Sacred Light. It also notes that Awakening changes a hero's playstyle rather than only scaling numbers — and the single concrete example it publishes is hers: Theresia's kit at Awakening level 1 includes "The Mace of Branding."
That is the only named Awakening effect for any hero anywhere on this site. It does not tell you what the effect does, and the guide is clear that no source it read lists what each of the six levels grants for each of the nineteen heroes. But it does establish that her level 1 adds a named skill effect, which is more than can be said for the other eighteen.
The same guide's spending advice applies to her the same as anyone: reach the level cap and first Breakthrough before investing in Awakening, and spread Stones across your actual team instead of maxing one favourite.
Where the rankings disagree, and why
Our tier list grades her A on Pro Game Guides, S on games.gg — and unusually, it explains the split rather than splitting the difference. One list reads her as having the highest damage ceiling in the game; the other grades her A because that ceiling sits behind the hardest execution on the roster. The page's verdict is the honest one: if you will not practise her, her S placement is not for you.
She also appears in that page's worked team examples as a main damage pick alongside Lute, and she is one of five heroes with a Hero Quest achievement on our achievements page — The End of the White Mistflower, at a 5.8% global unlock rate, the lowest of the five.
What this page cannot tell you
Her gear set, her Exclusive Karma, her stat priorities, her skill list beyond the one Awakening effect named above, and what [Inquisition] does while it is active. None of that appears on any page of this site. Her price is one Fate's Invitation, flat, like every Exchange hero the unlock planner tracks. The Kalsion build guide remains the only hero page here with a sourced gear-and-Karma loadout.
