Editorial Policy

These are the standards for publishing and correcting LootWiki references. A source link supports only what the source actually says. It does not establish that an article was tested in the game.

Official statements, observations and calculations

Use developer announcements and platform records for the facts they publish. Attribute community material as community material. Describe something as gameplay-tested only when the article records what was tested, when, on which version or platform, and the result. Software and AI may assist with research, drafting and translation; a byline or an automated check does not prove human gameplay verification.

Add something readers can use

An article should solve a distinct question through explanation, a comparison, a reproducible calculation, a tool or documented testing. Avoid splitting the same small set of source facts into several near-identical answers. A catalogue, a longer word count or a fresh date alone is not evidence of added value.

Numbers need the right denominator

A badge award total is not a drop rate, success probability or measured difficulty. Comparisons of cumulative totals do not track the same players. Price-per-unit calculations must show the quantity, price and formula; they do not establish undisclosed benefits. Probability models must state assumptions such as independent rolls and a constant rate.

Dates and changes

A review date means the article was revised or its stated evidence was checked. It is not a game patch date. Preserve the original date of older source snapshots and label historical values. A new site build must not silently turn old data into a fresh measurement.

Uncertainty and corrections

Show material source disagreements. Remove unsupported conclusions instead of padding an article with guesses. For corrections, use Contact with a URL, the specific claim and a source or clear game evidence. We do not promise a response or testing turnaround that we cannot guarantee.

Advertising and auxiliary pages

Author profiles, policies and navigation directories do not load our AdSense script. Duplicate all-article directories remain available for browsing but are excluded from search indexing. These measures do not make an unhelpful article valuable; the article itself must answer the reader's question.

Republished game-specific guides

Some articles are reproduced from game-specific sites we operate. These pages identify the source edition. Its review date stays attached to that edition; moving an article here is not a new gameplay test or proof of additional original reporting. Republished editions do not load our AdSense script while they have no independently reviewed hub-specific addition.

How we judge a revision

We check whether the page answers its stated question, whether its evidence supports that answer, and what useful explanation, comparison, observation or function it contributes. Repeated wording is one review signal, not a verdict: a shared layout is not itself duplicate content. Search indexing, advertising eligibility and editorial usefulness are separate decisions. A corrected fact, a working tool or a technical check does not prove that an advertising network will approve the site.

Homepage game spotlight

The homepage rotates games already covered in our guide library. Popular selections use a dated concurrent-player snapshot from Roblox or Steam, compared within each platform; this is not a worldwide ranking or a live counter. Recent releases use Steam's reported release date within the preceding 90 days. New on LootWiki refers to a guide collection first published here within 30 days, not the game's release. A Roblox experience creation date is not treated as a launch date.

The refresh is scheduled daily at 01:17 UTC (09:17 China time); the scheduler may run late. Public source requests happen on the server, not in your browser. Failed requests do not become zero-player claims. If no usable official snapshot arrives, the previous successful selection stays published with its original dates. Images use the official artwork or screenshots already credited in our game library.

Population sources: Roblox Games API and Steam current-player API. Release dates use Steam store app records. These signals select a homepage image; they do not constitute a new gameplay review.
