What is Sephiria?

Sephiria is a fate-defying action roguelite. On the Day of Destiny an omen strikes Bunnyville, and the villagers will be killed by a demon horde unless you stop them. Each run sends you up a tower where you collect Artifacts, unlock Talents, and rearrange your inventory to survive longer than the run before. What separates it from the roguelites it gets compared to is where the decisions live: the fights are readable and fast, but runs are won on the inventory screen, where every Artifact's power depends on which Tablet patterns reach its cell. Move an item one square and its level changes. The game left Early Access on 31 July 2026 after fifteen months, sells for $14.99, and TEAM HORAY has said in its launch announcement that the price will rise once Steam's one-month price-change cooldown passes — so the number you see today is the low end. Patches have come every two or three days since launch (1.0.24, on 7 August, is the newest as of 13 August 2026), almost all of them bug fixes and multiplayer repairs rather than balance swings, which means guides written against 1.0.19 still describe the game you are playing. This wiki tracks which of its own pages each patch invalidates, prints its sources, and flags the places where the official record contradicts itself instead of picking a side.

Common questions

How many weapons does Sephiria have?

Six distinct weapon classes. Each one carries more than 50 unique upgrades, so two runs on the same weapon can play very differently.

Does Sephiria have co-op?

Yes — online co-op for up to 4 players. Teams can trade items and revive fallen companions, which changes how much risk an individual run can absorb.

How long is Sephiria?

The journey spans 6 chapters with more than 10 unique bosses and over 60 distinct enemies. As a roguelite, total playtime depends on how many runs it takes you to clear each chapter.

Does Sephiria run on Mac?

Yes. Sephiria ships for both Windows and macOS. The published Windows minimum is a Ryzen 5 1400, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTS 750, with 2 GB of storage.

Is Sephiria by the Dungreed developer?

Yes. Sephiria is made by TEAM HORAY, the same studio that developed Dungreed.

How much does Sephiria cost, and will the price go up?

It is $14.99 USD on Steam. That is not a sale price — but it is also not final. TEAM HORAY's launch announcement says, verbatim, that once the launch discount ends and Steam's one-month price-change cooldown has passed, "the price will be increased." No new price or date has been announced. The 40%-off $8.99 launch window has already ended.

What is the latest Sephiria patch?

1.0.24, released 7 August 2026 — checked against the Steam news feed on 13 August 2026. It added appearance variants for seven costumes, fixed several multiplayer display bugs, and bumped the engine. There is no published 1.0.20, and 1.0.25 is referenced inside the 1.0.24 notes without notes of its own; our patch-notes section untangles the numbering.

Is Sephiria hard?

The difficulty curve is unusually well documented by Steam's own global achievement rates: 90.1% of players beat the first boss, 53.1% beat the Chapter 3 library guardian, and 28.6% have beaten the final boss (read 13 August 2026). Hard Mode adds thirty tiers on top for players who clear the story. The wall for most players is Chapter 3 — which is a build problem, not a reflex problem, and the guides here are organised around fixing it.
