Game version checked: 1.0.10 (19 August 2026 patch). Assembled from pages already on this site — no new claims about her kit.
Reina is the clearest example on this roster of a tier list measuring its author rather than its subject. Our tier list page opens by naming her as the reason it refuses to publish a third confident ranking: one site puts her in B, the other puts her in S, and both describe the same kit to get there.

What the disagreement is actually about
The tier list page takes the trouble to explain the gap rather than average it. Pro Game Guides grades her as a narrow airborne specialist. games.gg grades the airborne loop itself as one of the strongest patterns in the game, and her as its best operator.
Neither is describing a different hero. The disagreement is about how much the aerial playstyle is worth, which the page concludes depends on how you like to fight. That makes her tier grade close to useless as a purchase signal and quite useful as a self-test: if you already enjoy juggling enemies in this game, the S read is the one that applies to you.
The roster page describes her as high mobility and aerial flow, captain of the 8th Knight Order — consistent with both readings and decisive between neither.
Where she is documented playing
Two of the four lineups on our best team comps guide include her, and her job is the same in both: cover ground.
In Charlotte / Johnny / Reina, the high-execution alternative, Charlotte drives the opening pressure and tests whether the target can be launched, Johnny returns the sequence to the ground before the aerial route turns unsafe, and Reina is the mobile bridge who crosses space and restores position without spending her own defensive action too early. Investment order there is explicit: Charlotte first, Johnny second, Reina third. She is the last hero in that team to get gear.
In the Cerese / Othello / Reina variant, she is the substitute for a missing or underbuilt Dana — and the guide is careful that this is not an identical swap. She replaces part of Dana's ranged rhythm with ground movement and recovery instead, so the team loses ranged continuity and her entry timing matters more than Dana's did.
Read together, both entries frame her as a repositioning tool rather than a damage source. That is a narrower job than "S-tier aerial carry" implies, and it comes from the only tested-rotation material this site holds.
The ailment conflict, unresolved
Our ailment coverage page lists Reina among the nine heroes carrying no recorded ailment at all — the roster page names no ailment for her, so the inverted table has nothing to file.
Our Kalsion build guide says otherwise in passing, describing her as having an Airborne/Gale kit when it pairs her with Kalsion for a mixed-element Burn team, and our team archetypes comparison carries her forward on that basis as a named mixed-element partner in the Burn archetype.
Unconfirmed: both records stand. The coverage page prints this as one of three places our own pages disagree, and declines to reconcile it, because Hound13 has never published a hero-by-ailment chart. If the build-guide read is right, she belongs on the Airborne row with Aria, Eileen and Astria and the roster's most self-sufficient chain gets a fourth member; if the conservative read is right, she cannot open a Signal chain at all and her value is entirely positional — which is, notably, exactly how the tested comps describe her.
The tier list adds one more data point against over-investing in her Airborne access: it argues Eileen has no case for early tickets partly because of Airborne overlap with Astria and Reina, which reads as assuming Reina does launch. Three pages, two positions, no first-party source.
The patch record
Two entries on our patch notes page touch her, and neither is balance. 1.0.6 (31 July) gave her a summer costume and weapon skin alongside Astria and Cerese, with no system changes. 1.0.7 (6 August) sat behind fourteen quest fixes and twenty-three bug fixes, and our cooking guide names one of them as hers specifically: her weapon clipping through her arm during the [Boil] and [Slice] cooking actions.
That is a small detail with a real implication the cooking page draws out — every hero has a bespoke cooking animation and cinematic, and Hound13 has patched them individually. No patch through 1.0.10 records a Reina combat balance change.
She has no Hero Quest achievement; our achievements page confirms only five heroes do, and she is not one of them.
What this page cannot tell you
Her gear set, her Karma, her stat priorities, her skill names, her Awakening effects, and — flatly — whether she applies an ailment. She is a story unlock rather than an Exchange purchase, so the unlock planner costs her at zero invitations; the constraint on getting her is campaign progress, not currency. For the one hero page here with a complete sourced loadout, see the Kalsion build guide.
