Orc Problem Supporter Pack: What the $2.99 DLC Contains

Last reviewed: 1 September 2026 · Newest game update reflected: 2026.08.18.12.05 (18 August 2026).

The Supporter Pack is the only DLC Sir, We Have an Orc Problem has. It costs $2.99, released on 4 August 2026 — one week after the game — and contains three cosmetics and nothing else. Mumpitz Games' own announcement is unusually direct about what it is: "this is strictly optional and you won't miss any core content of the game when not buying it. … you can see it as a tip to us devs."

That sentence answers most of what people search about this pack, so the rest of this page is just the details, item by item, and the context for deciding whether the tip is one you want to leave.

The three items, in the developers' own words

The announcement lists the contents with one line of description each, and since the pack is cosmetic, those lines are the complete specification:

ItemOfficial description
Blue Flames"Make your flamethrowers even hotter."
Space Orcs"Outer space also hates you."
Space Background"Defend all of the galaxy."

Blue Flames reskins the flamethrower's fire effect. Space Orcs and Space Background reskin the enemies and the battlefield backdrop respectively. None of the three touches damage, range, resource income, achievements or any number this site tracks — if they did, the all turrets page would have to say so, and it does not.

What "supporter pack" means from this developer

The framing matters more than usual here. This is a two-person studio — the announcements are signed "Laurin & Stephan" — whose game sold 100,000 copies in its first four days at $8.99. The pack exists because a slice of that audience asked for a way to pay more, and the studio answered with cosmetics priced at a third of the game rather than gameplay sold separately.

The trade practice worth noticing: the base game's post-launch updates have been free, including the balance changes and the level editor work announced on 19 August. So far the line between "what you pay for" and "what the game is" has stayed exactly where the launch announcement drew it.

Should you buy it?

Work through three questions rather than a verdict:

Do you want the look? A hotter-burning flamethrower and space-themed orcs are the entire product. If you play zoomed out and mostly watch the counters, you will barely see them.

Do you want to pay the studio more? That is the actual product, by the developers' own description. $2.99 as a tip on a game that occupied you for the median eight hours is a reasonable impulse, and this is its official channel.

Are you buying it expecting content? Then do not. There are no levels, turrets, abilities or achievements in the pack. The 11 achievements on the achievements page are all base-game, and no achievement references the pack's cosmetics.

The details a store page check would give you

The DLC's Steam app ID is 4981840, listed under the base game at store.steampowered.com/app/4594150. It launched at $2.99 with no introductory discount, and as of 1 September 2026 the price has not moved. It requires the base game, follows Steam's standard DLC refund rules (two hours of total playtime, fourteen days), and shows no separate review score of its own consequence — buyer feedback folds into the main game's rating, which sat at 86.9% positive across 3,723 reviews when we last read it.

Will there be more DLC?

Nothing is announced, and the one roadmap statement Mumpitz Games has made points the other way: the 19 August 2026 update announcement says the team is building an in-game level editor, framed as free content — "we hear you and there will be more content in the future." Between launch and 1 September, every gameplay change (the Laser's no-sway upgrade, extra Strafing Run uses, the 6.1 path fix) shipped in free patches while the paid pack stayed purely visual. That is a pattern, not a promise; if a second DLC appears, this page and the update history will record it the day the announcement drops.

One open question the announcement never addresses: whether the cosmetics can be toggled per-item once owned, or apply globally. No official text answers it, so we do not.

What is not here

We have not bought and screenshotted each cosmetic side by side, so this page carries no gallery — the store page's own screenshots are the visual reference. And we do not track whether the pack goes on sale; wishlist it on Steam if that is the trigger you are waiting for.
