Sephiria Artifacts

Which artifacts to pick up first, what each one does, and how much grid space it costs.

The inventory grid is the build

Most games keep the build and the bag separate: you choose a build, then you carry things. Sephiria collapses the two into one screen.

Every cell in your inventory carries a number. That number is the level of whatever artifact is sitting in it. Tablets are emitters that push numbers onto specific cells. Arranging the bag is arranging those numbers — and moving an artifact one cell can change its level.

This is the system that most often decides whether a run survives chapter 3, and it is also the one that reads as fiddly inventory management right up until it clicks.

Four maxed beats twelve found

The practical consequence is worth stating plainly, because it is counter-intuitive: a bag full of level-0 artifacts loses to a bag with four maxed ones.

Artifacts scale in discrete levels with real stat arrays behind them — one runs 3/4/6/8 Ice Damage across its levels, another 6/12/18/24 HP. Max level varies per artifact, so a cell buffed to +5 is partly wasted on an artifact that caps at 3.

The advice experienced players give reduces to one rule: once you hold three or more useful artifacts, take the tablet over another artifact.

Where artifacts actually come from

More places than most players notice, and several are finite pools worth farming deliberately.

The obvious sources are Artifact nodes, Level Up rewards, mini-boss drops and shops. The ones people miss: the Dimensional Rift permanently unlocks 8 artifacts and 1 tablet into your pool for Sapphires and nowhere else; the Wandering Witch sells 11 artifacts and 2 tablets exclusive to her, at unusually low prices; Blood Donation trades 33% of your current HP for an item; Collin sells a Companion-combo artifact for 500 Leaf; and the Wishing Fountain lets you carry chosen items into a run.

Two conversion devices

The Mystic Pot turns 1 artifact into a different one of the same rarity, or 2 artifacts into one of higher rarity. The Tablet Combiner merges two tablets into one carrying both effects, for 200 Leaf, once per combiner.

Both matter because they turn dead picks into live ones. A run that offers you nothing you want is not lost — it is raw material.

On completeness

There is no full artifact table in this section, and the reason is not effort.

TEAM HORAY says the game has "about 300 artifacts." The most careful community audit counts 236. Those figures do not reconcile, and neither side has published a methodology. Any site showing you a complete, confident table has resolved that contradiction silently.

Explaining the system well enough that you can reason about an item you just picked up is more useful right now than a list that would be wrong in a third of its rows. When a verified table exists, we will publish it and say where it came from.
