The Gem Shop listing said "THE GEM SHOP IS COMING TO THE LOBBY." The Classes listing said "ROLL CLASSES AND BE OP." The Achievements listing said "Unlock rewards and badges by completing achievements and challenges!" The Chapter 2 listing reads "You got caught again!" and warns that "the guards won't be so easy on you."

What do we know about Alcatraz and Hard Mode?
Only what the 5 November badges and the Chapter 2 listing say. Alcatraz is a new map, and its badges mention powering up "the security room door" (Live Wire) and paddling "across the bay from Alcatraz without being spotted once" (Ghost Ship). Hard Mode has badges for the Iron Jail and Alcatraz, plus Hardened Criminal for any Hard Mode escape. The first map is called the Iron Jail in the Chapter 1 badge.
The records do not explain how to unlock Alcatraz or Hard Mode, or how Hard Mode differs. None of the eight badges had been awarded when we read the list.
What other changes are visible?
The game title now carries an [UPD] tag. The group reached 92,243 members on 5 November. The official game record shows 2,664,209 visits and 23,060 upvotes against 588 downvotes on the same day. Those are snapshots and will change.
