The badge text does not say whether two percentage bonuses add together or multiply, so read each total as a sum of listed values, not a confirmed in-game figure. The badge guide has every requirement.
Which rewards are items instead of numbers?
Two badges unlock items. Toothpick Purist gives the Golden Toothpick, which "digs 4 blocks at once, 40% faster." Royal Flush gives the Golden Toilet, which "flushes instantly," on top of +25% bag space. The tools guide compares the Golden Toothpick with the other named tools.
Which bonuses do most players already have?
On 5 November, Chapter 1: The Iron Jail (272,512 awards), Untouchable (246,663), Gem Magnet (132,965) and Clean Getaway (114,136) were the most common rewarding badges. Those four together list +$25 starting cash, +2% money for loot, +5% gems and +5% climb speed.
The rarest groups are long grinds. Legend of the Yard (100 escapes, 12 awards) holds the single biggest loot bonus. One in Ten Thousand (77 awards) depends on rolling the Mastermind class. Award totals show how many accounts own a badge, not how hard it is for you.
How much do the new chapter badges add?
The eight badges created on 5 November add +$100 starting cash, +7% dig speed (Live Wire and Hardened Criminal), +10% climb speed, +15% gems and +5% money for loot. That is half of the starting-cash total. They were not yet awarded when we read the list, a day before the Chapter 2 event listing begins. See the update history for dates.
Do gems and cash bonuses help the same way?
No. Cash is spent in the prison shop during a run, while gems are spent in the lobby. Starting cash and money-for-loot help you upgrade tools faster in each escape. Gem bonuses speed up class spins and lobby upgrades, covered in the gems guide.
