Scope: Official CLASSES UPDATE group announcement, badge, game-pass and developer-product records read 5 November 2026 (UTC)

Key points

  • There are 10 classes in seven rarities, from Common Inmate to Secret Mastermind.
  • Each spin costs 20 gems, and every roll replaces your current class.
  • Kingpin has every perk at once; Mastermind has every perk, doubled.
  • No official odds table was published, so rarity is the only guide to how rare a class is.

Escape Prison with a Toothpick has 10 rollable classes, announced by the developer on 23 October 2026. They run from the Common Inmate, "just a regular prisoner," to the Secret Mastermind, which has "every perk, doubled!" Each spin costs 20 gems, the perk follows you into every escape, and every roll replaces the class you had.

What does each class do?

The list below is copied from the CLASSES UPDATE announcement posted by the group owner, Mirrorrs. Rarities are given in the announcement's order, from most common to rarest.

ClassRarityPerk as announced
InmateCommonJust a regular prisoner
PickpocketCommonStart with extra cash
SmugglerUncommonStart with a Pencil
Gang LeaderUncommonSell for more with every crewmate (up to +20%)
HagglerRare15% off in the prison shop
GamblerRare30% chance to double a sale
Tunnel RatEpicDig bigger and carry 40% more
JewellerLegendaryDouble gems
KingpinMythicEvery perk at once
MastermindSecretEvery perk, doubled!

The announcement does not give the cash amount for Pickpocket or say how much bigger Tunnel Rat digs. It also does not spell out how a doubled perk works for Mastermind, for example whether Haggler's 15% becomes 30%. We leave those values blank rather than guess.

How do you roll a class?

Visit the CLASS booth in the lobby or press the CLASS button. The announcement sets four rules:

  • Each spin costs 20 gems. Gems come from digging, escaping and daily rewards (see the gems guide).
  • Every roll becomes your new class, so a spin can replace a better class with a worse one.
  • STOP AT keeps auto-spinning until you hit the rarity you want.
  • Lucky Spins and the 2X LUCK pass boost your odds of Rare and better.

Because a roll always overwrites your class, STOP AT is the safer way to chase a rarity. Set it to the lowest rarity you would be happy with, and auto-spin stops there instead of rolling past it.

Which class should you aim for?

Your goal decides it. If you dig in a crew, Gang Leader's sale bonus grows with every crewmate, up to +20%. Haggler cuts prison-shop prices and suits cash-tight runs. Gambler and Tunnel Rat help in every run, alone or with a crew. Jeweller only affects gems, so it speeds up future spins and lobby upgrades more than the escape itself.

Kingpin and Mastermind combine every perk, so they outclass the rest on paper. Their rarity is the catch. One badge is named One in Ten Thousand and calls Mastermind "the rarest class there is," but no official odds table was published. Treat the badge name as a hint, not a stated chance.

Do Robux offers change the odds?

Three spin products and one pass relate to classes. Prices are the listings read on 5 November 2026.

10 Class SpinsDeveloper product129No description listed
3 Lucky SpinsDeveloper product199No description listed
Classes Lucky CharmGame pass199"Get better luck odds at spinning classes!"

The announcement names a "2X LUCK pass," while the only luck pass in the official pass list is Classes Lucky Charm, created on 22 October 2026. The records do not say whether they are the same item, and the pass description gives no multiplier. Per spin, 3 Class Spins works out to about 16.3 Robux and 10 Class Spins to 12.9 Robux (price divided by spins). That is listing arithmetic, not a recommendation. Compare it with gem packs on the Robux shop page.

Which badges are tied to classes?

Two badges reward rolling. High Roller asks you to "Roll a Legendary class - or rarer" and gives +5% gems. One in Ten Thousand asks for the Mastermind and gives +10% gems. Both rewards are permanent, so a lucky roll keeps paying off in gems even after you spin away from that class.
