  • Overtime doubles the next shift's pay and XP and is only used up by a shift with at least one incident.
  • Overtime works on top of the Double Pay and Double XP passes.
  • Each mutual aid unit normally costs $120 to $260 out of your shift pay.

A 911 Dispatch shift lasts anywhere from 2 minutes up to an hour. At the end you get a grade and earn money, which you spend on more units and new parts of the city. Store records add that shifts also pay XP, that Overtime doubles both, and that mutual aid units cost money out of your shift pay.

What do you get at the end of a shift?

The game description says "you get a grade at the end of each shift and earn money for more units and new parts of the city." The Double Pay and Double XP pass texts confirm that both pay and XP are handed out "at the end of every shift." The records do not publish the grading scale or a base pay rate, so this guide gives no numbers for them.

How does Overtime work?

Overtime is a developer product. The single version "Your next shift pays double, pay and XP both. It is only used up by a shift where you handle at least one incident, so signing off early does not waste it. Works on top of Double Pay and Double XP." Overtime x5 covers your next five shifts with the same rule. Overtime x20 covers twenty shifts; its description does not repeat the stacking sentence.

Because a shift with no incidents does not use Overtime, you can sign on, check your setup and sign off without losing a doubled shift. Price per shift is on the Robux shop page.

Do Double Pay, Double XP and Overtime stack?

The Overtime and Overtime x5 descriptions say they work "on top of Double Pay and Double XP." Double Pay "doubles the pay you get at the end of every shift," and Double XP does the same for XP. The records do not say whether the bonuses add together or multiply, so we do not give a combined multiplier. Prices and status are on the game passes page.

What can reduce your pay?

Mutual aid. The Mutual Aid Contract pass says "Mutual aid units are free. Normally each one costs $120 to $260 out of your shift pay." Without that pass, calling in mutual aid lowers what the shift pays. The records do not say when mutual aid is offered; the Fleet guide covers it alongside your own units.

Are there daily or membership bonuses?

Yes. The description lists "a daily bonus" and says "Plus Subscribers get a 10% bonus at the end of shifts." The amount of the daily bonus is not published.

How long should a shift be?

The developer allows shifts "from 2 minutes up to an hour." Two badges count shifts (Regular for 10, Veteran for 50) and two count incidents (Fifty Up for 50, Five Hundred for 500), so both short and long shifts make progress toward badges.
