  • Up to 4 dispatchers work the same console: you plus up to 3 others.

911 Dispatch multiplayer is built around companies. You found a company, or join one with a code or from the open list, and work the same console with up to 3 others. The developer announced it on 27 October 2026 and listed a "Multiplayer Update" event on 31 October. Solo play is unchanged: everyone still has their own city.

How do you start or join a company?

The announcement gives three routes, quoted exactly:

RouteDeveloper's wording
Start your own"Found a company"
Join a friend"join one with a code"
Join anyone"or from the open list"

The records do not say where the company menu sits or whether a company can be private. The event artwork shows four slots labelled OP 1, OP 2, OP 3 and OPEN under the line "Up to 4 dispatchers. One fleet. One shift."

Who does what on a shared console?

TaskWho can do it
Answer a phone lineWhoever answers it "takes the call"
Enter incidentsAnyone
Send unitsAnyone
Handle the radioAnyone

Because the person who answers takes the call, a simple split is one dispatcher on phones while another works the radio and units. That is our suggestion, not a developer rule. The call steps are covered in how to play.

How are money and progress shared?

The announcement says "the company has its own fleet, coverage and funds, so what you earn together builds it up. Each of you is still paid your share, with your own passes and bonuses on top." So company earnings build the company's fleet, and each member also receives personal pay that your own Double Pay, Double XP or Overtime can boost.

The records do not state how the share is calculated. Pass effects are listed on the game passes page, and solo Fleet buying is in the Fleet guide.

What else came with the update?

The announcement and event listing both add "Bug fixes and stability improvements" and end with "Get on shift with your company when the update goes live." The event ran on 31 October 2026 from 00:15 to 00:50 UTC. See the update history for the full timeline.

Does multiplayer change solo play?

The game description still says "everyone gets their own city so nobody messes with your calls." The game record lists a maximum of 1 player per server; the records do not explain how companies connect across that limit.
