Roblox Stock Exchange 2 Algo Bots: Costs and Settings
Scope: Official text about algorithmic bots on 2026-10-08: the game description, one badge, four developer products, one game pass description and the Hedge Funds event art; bot settings, returns, unlock requirements and in-game cash prices are not published and are not covered
Key points
- The official description says you "Unlock and upgrade algorithmic trading bots". No settings, returns or unlock levels are published.
- Four Robux products involve bots: Algo Scan Upgrade (39), Algo Expertise Upgrade (79), Deploy Algo Bot (149) and Tune Entire Algo Fleet (249).
- The First Algo Bot badge had been awarded 50,910 times by 8 October 2026, about 2.2 per 100 Welcome badges.
- The developer has published no bot settings; any list of best settings you find is unofficial. We publish none, and suggest how to test your own.
Algorithmic bots in Roblox Stock Exchange 2 are something you "unlock and upgrade", in the words of the official description. The developer has published no bot settings, returns or unlock levels. What is public: four Robux products priced from 39 to 249, a First Algo Bot badge held by about 2 in 100 players, and two official mentions elsewhere.
That is thin, and this page does not pad it. It lists the official lines about bots in Roblox Stock Exchange 2 that we could find, says what each one proves, and is plain about the "best settings" question.
What has the developer said about bots?
We found five official sources that mention them. The quotes are exact.
| Where | Official text |
|---|---|
| Game description | "Unlock and upgrade algorithmic trading bots" |
| First Algo Bot badge | "You created your first algorithmic trading bot!" |
| Executive Terminal pass | "unlocks private market algorithmic bot scans" |
| Developer products | Four product names, listed below |
| HEDGE FUNDS event art | Quant strategy: "Sharper algorithmic execution: your bots pay less commission." |
From those lines we can say that bots are created by the player, that they can be upgraded, that the Executive Terminal pass mentions "bot scans", and that the Hedge Funds art mentions bot commission. We cannot say how a bot decides what to trade.
What do the bot products cost?
All four were created on 13 July 2026, the day the game was created, and none has a description.
| Product | Robux | Created | What the name tells you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Algo Scan Upgrade | 39 | 13 Jul 2026 | A bot has a scan stat that can be upgraded |
| Algo Expertise Upgrade | 79 | 13 Jul 2026 | A bot has an expertise stat that can be upgraded |
| Deploy Algo Bot | 149 | 13 Jul 2026 | Bots are deployed one at a time |
| Tune Entire Algo Fleet | 249 | 13 Jul 2026 | You can own several bots, and tune them all at once |
The last column is our reading of the name and nothing more. The description's "Unlock and upgrade" wording suggests bots are also part of normal progression, without Robux. The in-game cash prices and unlock requirements are not published, so we cannot tell you what the free route costs. Every other product in the store is in the Robux shop guide, and the code printed in the description is on the codes page.
What are the best bot settings?
There are no official ones. The developer has not published a list of bot settings, and no official source names a single setting. Players do look for them: "best bot settings" is one of Google's suggested searches for the game. Such lists are unofficial and we have not verified any of them, so none is repeated here.
What we can offer is a way to test, and this part is our advice:
- Change one thing at a time. If you alter two settings and results improve, you will not know which one did it.
- Give each change the same amount of market time before you judge it.
- Use the game's own record. The description promises a P&L calendar to "Track your performance", which is the tool for comparing one day against another.
- Watch the commission. The HEDGE FUNDS event art mentions a bot commission; it does not say how it is charged.
No setting can promise a profit, in this game or anywhere else. The developer's own line applies: the game does not "provide financial advice".
How do hedge funds affect bots?
An official event titled HEDGE FUNDS started on 17 August 2026 with the description "Run a hedge fund". Its art says you "Name it, pick a strategy, and specialise it three tiers deep", and shows four strategies. One of them concerns bots:
| Strategy | Text on the art | Tier figures on the art |
|---|---|---|
| Momentum | "Compound expertise faster from profitable manual closes." | Mastery & close XP: +10%, +20%, +30% |
| Quant | "Sharper algorithmic execution: your bots pay less commission." | Bot commission: -5%, -10%, -15% |
| Income | "Boost dividends and Treasury Desk interest." | Daily income: +10%, +25%, +45% |
| Venture | "Launch player-founded companies with more simulated-investor hype." | Launch hype: +5, +10, +15 |
These figures come from promotional art made for the update. They show what the art displays, and the live numbers may differ. The art pairs Quant with bots and Momentum with manual closes. How you start a hedge fund is not stated in the listing; the other eleven events are on the updates page.
How many players have a bot?
Not many. The First Algo Bot badge had 50,910 awards when we checked, against 2,288,320 for the Welcome badge. That is about 2.2 in 100. In the day before our check it was awarded 1,404 times.
For comparison, the Millionaire badge had 100,099 awards, about twice as many. So reaching a million does not depend on having a bot. The badge list has the full ladder.
Do bots work while you are offline?
The official text does not connect the two. The description says you can grow your portfolio "even while you’re offline", and the Overnight Desk pass says "Your market keeps running for 24 hours offline instead of 8." Neither line mentions bots. It is reasonable to expect bots to matter during that window, but we have not confirmed it and will not state it as fact. The pass is compared with the other twelve in the game pass guide.
Are scripts and bots the same thing?
No, as far as official text goes. The game has a script editor, and the NEW FUNCTIONS event describes it as a way "to make advanced indicators". Indicators draw on your chart. Nothing official says a script can place trades or control a bot.
Scripts in this sense are an in-game feature of Roblox Stock Exchange 2. Outside exploit scripts are a different matter and are not covered on this site.
