The 4 October listing announced Co-Play, thread colours and console play; the 10 October listing, the Global Competition; the 17 October listing, Halloween content. A listing starting 24 October 2026 at 20:00 UTC announces Custom Competitions with new patterns, fabrics and laces.
What has each Make Dresses update post announced?
All four posts are Roblox event listings titled "NEW UPDATE" by Make A Dress x DT Studios. Dates are the event start times in UTC. These are event listing times; the posts do not state the exact moment a feature went live.
| Event start (UTC) | Headline features in the developer's post | Post created |
|---|---|---|
| 4 October 2026, 20:00 | Co-Play, Thread Colors, console support | 2 October |
| 10 October 2026, 20:00 | Global Competition with theme, submission and voting | 9 October |
| 17 October 2026, 20:00 | Halloween map, crates, fabrics, accessories, commissions and competition | 11 October |
| 24 October 2026, 20:00 (scheduled) | Custom Competitions; new and improved dress patterns, new fabrics, new laces | 20 October |
What came with the Make Dresses Co-Play update?
The post introduces Co-Play: you can invite anyone in your server, or friends outside it, to your atelier and make a dress side by side, then share the coins and XP. It also announces Thread Colors, changed by clicking the yarn beside the sewing machine, and says every feature is now playable on console. Invitation details are on the Co-Play and competitions page.
What was the Global Competition update?
The 10 October post describes a competition where a theme is given, you design an outfit and submit it before time runs out. Players then look at other designs and vote for favourites. The post names no prize, entry cost or round length.
What did the 17 October Halloween post announce?
The 17 October post, headed "Get Ready for Halloween!", announces five items:
| Item | What the post says |
|---|---|
| Halloween Map | Halloween decorations across the map |
| Halloween Crates | Halloween-themed Fabric and Accessory Crates are coming, with festive designs and a new interface |
| Halloween Fabrics and Accessories | Halloween-themed items "available to all players" |
| Halloween Commissions | New clients will be looking for Halloween-themed outfits |
| Halloween Global Competition | Halloween-themed challenges in the competition |
The post does not say when the seasonal items leave. For crate prices and the naming question, see the shop page.
What is scheduled next for Make Dresses?
A post created on 20 October 2026 lists an event from 24 October 20:00 UTC to 26 October 20:00 UTC. It announces Custom Competitions: create your own competition room, pick a theme, host it, and let players join from any server to design, submit and vote. The same post lists new and improved dress patterns, new fabrics and new laces for accessories. These are announcements made before the start time.
How were these dates checked?
The timeline comes from the Roblox virtual-events API, read on 22 October 2026 with and without the starting cursor; both returned the same four posts. The API's status field reported every event as active, including finished ones, so this page uses start and end times instead.
Store listing dates, for reference only: crate products were created on 3–4 October, Pro Bundle on 10 October, Quest Reroll on 17 October and AutoSew Dress on 19 October. A Make Dresses store creation date shows when a listing was made, not when a feature reached players. To see how the steps fit together, read the dressmaking guide; to confirm the game, use the Make Dresses hub.
