The two official sources list the opening steps differently. The game description starts with measuring, while the Co-Play announcement lists "pick necklines, measure, cut, pin and style". Follow whatever prompt the current order shows rather than assuming one fixed order for necklines and measurements.
How do I change the thread colour?
According to the 4 October 2026 update post, you click the yarn next to your sewing machine and choose a new thread colour to match the design. The post does not list the available colours or say whether colour affects how a customer rates the dress. The update log keeps that post with its date.
How does earning money and upgrading work in Make Dresses?
The developer's description lists "Satisfy your customers, earn money, upgrade your studio, and unlock new fabrics, patterns, and decorations" without saying how each part connects. The Co-Play post calls the rewards "coins and XP" and says partners share both.
