LONGSHOT Badges: All 5 Texts and Award Counts
Scope: Badge names, descriptions, creation dates and award counters from the Roblox badge API at 11:32 UTC on 2026-10-11; totals grow every day; requirements beyond the official one-line texts are not published; ratios between counters are our arithmetic and are not odds
Key points
- LONGSHOT has 5 Roblox badges, all created on 30 September 2026: Welcome to Blackfile, Long Shot, By the Book, Found in the Crowd and The Crown Falls.
- Welcome to Blackfile (first contract cleared) had 248,345 awards and By the Book (every star on a file in one run) had 229,179 when we read the record.
- Long Shot needs "A target down at 500 studs or more" and had 38,263 awards, about 15 for every 100 Welcome to Blackfile awards.
- The Crown Falls (4,705) and Found in the Crowd (2,234) are far rarer. More than half of all Crown Falls awards came in the day before our check.

LONGSHOT has 5 Roblox badges, all created on 30 September 2026. Welcome to Blackfile marks your first cleared contract and had 248,345 awards on 11 October 2026. Long Shot needs a target down at 500 studs or more. The rarest is Found in the Crowd, a Crowd Hunt badge with 2,234 awards.
Everything on this page comes from the Roblox badge API, read at 11:32 UTC that day. Badge texts are copied exactly as the developer wrote them.
What are all 5 LONGSHOT badges?
"Per 100" is our own calculation: a badge's total awards divided by the Welcome to Blackfile total, times 100. It compares badges with each other. It is not a drop rate.
| Badge | Official text | Total awarded | Per 100 Welcome awards | Awarded in the past day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome to Blackfile | "Cleared your first contract. The Bureau has a file on you now." | 248,345 | 100 | 76,069 |
| By the Book | "Every star on a file in a single run." | 229,179 | 92.3 | 70,379 |
| Long Shot | "A target down at 500 studs or more. Wind, drop, lead: all of it right." | 38,263 | 15.4 | 14,939 |
| The Crown Falls | "Cleared KP-01. The Hollow Crown's Port Veyra cell is finished." | 4,705 | 1.9 | 2,629 |
| Found in the Crowd | "Crowd Hunt: picked an infiltrator out of the crowd from your perch." | 2,234 | 0.9 | 590 |
All five records were created within five seconds of each other at 01:36 UTC on 30 September 2026, a week after the game record. All five are enabled. Roblox describes a badge as "a special award you can gift players when they meet a goal within your game", and here each goal is spelled out in one or two short sentences.
Which LONGSHOT badges come first?
Welcome to Blackfile is the entry badge. Its text is "Cleared your first contract. The Bureau has a file on you now." It is the most awarded of the five, which is why we use it as the base for the per-100 column.
By the Book is close behind at 92.3 per 100. Its text asks for "Every star on a file in a single run." The developer does not say how many stars a file has.
The badge icon shows three stars lying on a paper file, which is a hint from the art and not a rule we can quote. In award counts, By the Book runs close to one for one with the entry badge.
The how-to-play guide has the controls you need for both, and a suggested order for a first session.
How do you get the Long Shot badge?
By dropping a target from far away. The full text is "A target down at 500 studs or more. Wind, drop, lead: all of it right." Studs are the distance unit the text uses, and 500 is the only range figure in the official records we read.
The second sentence lists what makes that range hard: wind, bullet drop and lead. The first two are also in the LONGSHOT description, which the how-to-play guide quotes line by line. Lead, aiming ahead of a moving target, appears only here.
Long Shot had 38,263 awards, or 15.4 for every 100 Welcome to Blackfile awards. Which contracts offer a 500-stud line of sight is not stated. One note on names: the badge is Long Shot, two words, and the game is LONGSHOT, one word in capitals. They are different things on Roblox's records.
What is KP-01 in The Crown Falls?
The badge text is the only place KP-01 appears in the records we read: "Cleared KP-01. The Hollow Crown's Port Veyra cell is finished." The Hollow Crown is the crime ring the description says Port Veyra belongs to.
So this badge marks the point where, per its text, the Hollow Crown's Port Veyra cell is finished. Our reading is that KP-01 is the last file of the campaign, and the modes guide sets out what else is known about it.
The Crown Falls had 4,705 awards in total. Of those, 2,629 came in the day before our check, which is 55.9% of every award the badge has ever had. No other LONGSHOT badge has a share that high:
| Badge | Total awarded | Awarded in the past day | Past day as a share of the total |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Crown Falls | 4,705 | 2,629 | 55.9% |
| Long Shot | 38,263 | 14,939 | 39.0% |
| By the Book | 229,179 | 70,379 | 30.7% |
| Welcome to Blackfile | 248,345 | 76,069 | 30.6% |
| Found in the Crowd | 2,234 | 590 | 26.4% |
The counters cannot say why, and no official note explains it, so we report the numbers and stop there.
How rare is Found in the Crowd?
It is the least awarded LONGSHOT badge: 2,234 in total, or 0.9 for every 100 Welcome to Blackfile awards. The text reads "Crowd Hunt: picked an infiltrator out of the crowd from your perch."
Two things follow from the wording. You have to be playing Crowd Hunt, one of the seven modes we count in the description. And, going by the phrase "from your perch", you have to be the one doing the picking.
The developer has not published how Crowd Hunt works: who sits on the perch, who or what the infiltrators are, or how many a round has. The modes guide collects the little that is official about it.
Does any LONGSHOT pass or product help with a badge?
None says so. We read all 5 pass descriptions and all 19 product descriptions, and not one mentions a badge.
The nearest are two passes. Veteran's Ledger adds "+50% XP and +50% rifle mastery progress from every PvE contract", and no badge text mentions XP or mastery. Extra Run Life covers a revive in Endless, and no badge text mentions Endless.
The game pass guide has all five passes. The 19 store products are in the shop guide. Nothing in the official records says a purchase is needed for any LONGSHOT badge.
Why do the LONGSHOT badge totals keep changing?
Because they are live counters. We read the record twice, 43 seconds apart, and in that gap Welcome to Blackfile rose by 52, By the Book by 52 and Long Shot by 9. The Crown Falls and Found in the Crowd did not move.
Use the per-100 column to compare LONGSHOT badges with each other. A count of badge awards is also a different measure from the 426,688 visits Roblox recorded for the game in the same minute.
