All 13 Deep Fishing Badges and How Many Players Own Them

Deep Fishing has 13 Roblox badges: Welcome!, four first-catch badges (Legendary, Mythical, Secret and Mutation) and eight catch-count milestones from 50 to 500,000 fish. The easy ones come in your first session; 10K Catches and above belong to a tiny group — on 29 September 2026, only eight players had 500K Catches.

Everything on this page comes from the Roblox badge API, the same data the Roblox experience page shows. The unlock text is copied exactly, including the developer's own "1.000" spelling.

What are all the badges, and how many people have each?

"Share" is our own calculation: the badge's total awards divided by the 2,104,103 awards of the Welcome! badge. Think of it as "out of every 100 players with the entry badge".

The totals keep climbing — First Mutation alone was awarded 95,736 times in the day before our check — so treat the numbers as a snapshot rather than a record.

Which badges will you get on day one?

Welcome! is automatic. First Mutation and 50 Catches are the next easiest; both are held by two-thirds or more of badge holders, so most players pick them up in their first sessions.

First Legendary is the first real milestone. About half of players have it. If you are not there yet, the how-to-play guide explains why we put distance ahead of luck.

Why do some totals look low?

Two reasons. The badges were created on 28 July and 1 August, while the game went live on 18 July. Players from those first days only earned badges if they returned afterwards. And the Welcome! count is badge awards, not unique people who ever opened the game — Roblox counts 5.45 million visits, which include repeat sessions.

So use the shares to compare badges with each other, not as exact odds.

How hard are the catch milestones?

The jump after 1,000 fish is steep:

• 1,000 Catches: about 16 in 100 badge holders.
• 10K Catches: fewer than 1 in 100.
• 50K Catches: 943 players in total.
• 500K Catches: 8 players in total.

At that level, the paid helpers the developer sells matter more than for anything else. Fish Magnet ("Pull Fish close to the Bait") and Auto Sell are the two passes aimed at catching and clearing volume; our game pass guide compares all nine. How many fish count per cast for these milestones is not stated officially.

How do you get the rarity badges?

First Legendary, First Mythical and First Secret need you to land a fish of that tier. The developer does not publish odds, but the badge totals give a clear ladder: Legendary is roughly six times as common as Secret among players.
