What is a useful first-session checklist?
Use three checkpoints from the badge descriptions: clock in, care for and discharge a first patient, then work toward CNA. These are milestone labels, rather than a claim that a specific button sequence completes the tasks. The hospital overview names the patient-care activities advertised by the developer.
First Patient includes discharge in its description, so it represents more than starting a patient's care. First Shift and First Patient are separate records; seeing one on your profile does not itself tell you that the other milestone has been completed.
How does the RN badge relate to the career ladder?
The career ladder has both RN (ASN) and RN (BSN), but this badge uses only Registered Nurse. The badge description alone does not assign it to either qualification. Follow the published ladder for role order and use this page for the milestones actually named in the badge records.
Are badges a guide to how fast you will rank up?
A badge description tells you the named milestone. Award statistics are separate platform fields and do not state the number of patients, Career Points or minutes you personally need. This guide therefore uses the developer's milestone text rather than calculating a success chance from those counts.
