What changed in the 20 October NEW RACES update?
The How To Drift description carries a short note headed "Oct 20". In our words, it says:

Both posts were marked "active" by the API, including the one that had already ended, so this log uses the start and end times instead. Neither post lists features. The 17 October post's art is the same as the game's main promotional image, and the 24 October post reuses the night-drift image.
What else was reported around the BIG UPDATE?
One codes page hints at more than the official posts say. According to Destructoid's How To Drift codes page (updated 18 October 2026), players are saving for a "sleek remodel" and the developers are expanding the map. No official How To Drift record mentions a map expansion or a remodel, so treat both as unconfirmed until the in-game "What's New" panel or the developer says so.
