Key points

- For cash alone, 2x Cash adds +100% against VIP's +10%; VIP also doubles daily rewards.
- The Replays pass named in the description was not in the public pass listing.

How To Drift has three game passes on Roblox, all on sale on 23 October 2026: [💵] 2x Cash for 299 Robux, [👑] VIP for 249 and [🔧] Customize+ for 99. Buying all three costs 647 Robux. Two of them raise cash income; Customize+ is purely cosmetic.
What does each How To Drift pass do?
| Pass | Robux | Developer's description (verbatim) | Listed since |
|---|---|---|---|
| [💵] 2x Cash | 299 | Double cash from every drift and race, forever. Stacks with boosts. | 4 Oct 2026 |
| [👑] VIP | 249 | Gold VIP chat tag, +10% cash on everything and double daily rewards. | 4 Oct 2026 |
| [🔧] Customize+ | 99 | Exhaust flames & underglow in any colour, or a rainbow! | 1 Oct 2026 |
"Listed since" is the date the pass record was created, not proof of when the effect reached players. Customize+ was last edited on 22 October 2026. Prices are the listings on 23 October; the amount in your purchase prompt is the one that counts.
Is the permanent 2x Cash pass cheaper than timed boosts?
How To Drift also sells two temporary versions of the same effect as developer products. All three say they double cash from drifts and races.
| Option | Robux | Boost time | Robux per hour of 2x |
|---|---|---|---|
| [💵] 2x Cash (30 Min) | 49 | 30 minutes | 98 |
| [💵] 2x Cash (2 hrs) | 129 | 2 hours | 64.5 |
| [💵] 2x Cash pass | 299 | Permanent | Falls with every hour you play |
Break-even arithmetic, assuming you only need the boost while you play:
- Against 30-minute boosts: 299 ÷ 49 = 6.1, so the pass costs about as much as six 30-minute boosts, roughly 3 hours of boosted play.
- Against 2-hour boosts: 299 ÷ 129 = 2.3, about 4.6 hours of boosted play. Two 2-hour boosts (258 Robux) are still cheaper; the third (387 in total) costs more than the pass.
The product text does not say whether a timed boost keeps counting down when you leave the game, which would shorten its real value. The DISCORD code is reported to include a free 30-minute boost; see the codes page.
Should you buy VIP or 2x Cash first in How To Drift?
For cash, the two How To Drift passes are not close. 2x Cash adds +100% to drift and race income for 299 Robux; VIP adds +10% "on everything" for 249 Robux. VIP's other two perks are a gold chat tag and double daily rewards, and the contents of those daily rewards are not published.
| Comparison | 2x Cash | VIP |
|---|---|---|
| Cash bonus | +100% on drifts and races | +10% on everything |
| Other perks | None listed | Gold chat tag, double daily rewards |
| Robux | 299 | 249 |
What happens when you own both How To Drift passes is not stated. 2x Cash says it "stacks with boosts", but no formula is given, so we do not claim a combined multiplier such as 2.2x or 2.1x, and the same applies to stacking the pass with a timed boost.
What do you get from the How To Drift Customize+ pass?
Customize+ unlocks exhaust flames and underglow in any colour, or a rainbow effect, for 99 Robux. It does not mention cash or performance. The garage options UrGameTips mentions, such as custom colours, window tint and part selection, are covered on the how-to-play page.
Where is the Replays pass?
The How To Drift description says the Y key records replays and labels it "(Replays pass)". On 23 October 2026 the public pass listing returned only the three passes above, on two separate requests. No public record explains the gap or gives the Replays pass a price. If you see a Replays pass in game, the price in the purchase prompt is the authoritative one.
For one-off cash purchases instead of multipliers, compare the six cash packs on the cash packs page.
