The developer's AI COPS event announcement describes a three-star system, roadblocks at three stars and police giving up after more than 60 seconds without sight of the rider. We re-read the event record on 16 October 2026. This is a reference to what was announced, not a test that the current game implements every rule unchanged.

The useful rules in one table

SituationWhat the announcement saysWhat it does not establish
Wanted level reaches three starsRoadblocks beginWhich action adds each star, or the behaviour at one and two stars
Police lose sight of the riderThey patrol around the last-seen areaA guaranteed hiding place or a distance threshold
Rider stays out of sight for over 60 secondsPolice give upWhether a timer pauses or resets in the current build
Police are jukedThey spin out and slow downA tested steering sequence that reliably triggers it
Rider is caught or escapesCaught riders face a fine; escape money is described as the fine amountThe amount, current eligibility or an optimal money-farming route

This table replaces the previous line-by-line duplication of the announcement. The patch reference records the event's place in the source history. Its planned event window is not a guarantee of current availability.

What would “over 60 seconds” mean in a test?

Exactly 60 seconds is not “over 60” in the wording. To investigate the rule, record when line of sight is lost, whether it is regained, the visible wanted indicator and when pursuit ends. An uninterrupted 65-second observation would test the timing claim more usefully than repeatedly ducking out of sight for a few seconds.

That is a proposed observation method, not a tested escape strategy. If police regain sight, the announcement does not specify how an internal timer behaves. Do not add a reset rule from another game's wanted system.

Does a wheelie automatically add a star?

The announcement says police dislike wheelies and are more likely to chase bikes it calls illegal. It does not identify every illegal bike or state a star increment for a wheelie. Neither the three-star comparison with GTA nor promotional art supplies those missing mechanics.

Are the fine purchases a shortcut to earning escape money?

No such conclusion follows from these records. The fines reference separates a product labelled AVOID FINES from the NEVER PAY FINES pass. Their wording does not establish immunity from pursuit, a guaranteed escape or a positive earnings rate.

For ordinary play, the playing overview and money reference cover separately described activities. Keep the game and developer matched: this page is about Untitled Wheelie Game, not another Roblox experience advertising AI cops.
