Clean the Moon is a sweeping game: you push a broom across the Moon to collect dust and debris, sell it for cash, then spend the cash on better gear and robots. That is the developer's own list, and it is the only published guide to the loop. Up to 20 players share a server.

What does the description say you can do?

Six bullet points, quoted in order:

  • Sweep dust and debris to earn cash.
  • Unlock cleaning robots to automate your work.
  • Build and expand your own lunar base.
  • Upgrade your broom, backpack and moon boots.
  • Unlock new craters and zones as you progress.
  • Team up with friends to clean faster together.

The first lines add that you sweep "moon dust, space junk, and meteor debris" and "sell what you collect". The developer closes with "Can you clean the ENTIRE Moon?".

What does the shop tell us about the loop?

Product names give a few hints, though no pass or product has a description. Capacity, Silo Pack and Hopper suggest the game limits how much you can carry or store, and Turbo Sweeper, Turbo Vac and Galaxy Vacuum suggest faster collection tools. That is our reading of the names, not a developer statement. The tools guide lines all nine up.

What do the badges show?

Five badges exist: First Upgrade, First Sale, Dust Buster, Clean Sweep and Crew Player. They fit the loop of upgrading, selling, sweeping and playing with a crew, and the badge page shows how often each has been awarded.

Can you play with friends?

Yes. The description says "Team up with friends to clean faster together", and a badge called Crew Player exists. The description also asks you to "Join the group for exclusive rewards!". The group had 102,382 members on the reading date; no reward is named, so we cannot say what they are.

Is there an update running?

A Halloween update is listed until 6 November 2026; see the Halloween update page.

What should you do first?

Our suggestion, not a developer instruction: sweep and sell until you earn your first upgrade, since the First Upgrade and First Sale badges have the highest award counts. Check the pass list only if you want to speed things up with Robux.
