There are five licenses, Class D, C, B, A and S, and each one unlocks a bigger group of cars. The developer names them in the game's badges. After Class S you can claim Master License ranks. The game description adds that you "pay for tests to pass to get new licenses."

Badge text and award counts are from the Roblox badges listing, read 3 November 2026. Counts are lifetime totals and grow daily.

How hard is each step?

The award counts show where players stall. About 1.66 million have Class D, but only about 144 thousand reached Class B, and fewer than 22 thousand hold Class S. That is a drop of roughly 99% from Class D to Class S, worked out from the two counts above. Roblox's own win-rate field for the badges reads 14.5% for Class B, 5.4% for Class A and 1.8% for Class S.

What makes Class A and Class S different?

Both are called "Test Day" in the badge text, unlike the earlier tests. Class A adds a night drive, a precision section and the skid pan. The badge text for Class S does not list its sections. Update 2 also says you now "get your license right after the exam" (see updates).

Do you have to pay for tests?

Yes, with in-game cash. The description says "Pay for tests to pass to get new licenses", and "Do driving jobs → earn cash." The fee amounts are not published in any listing we found. The how-to-play guide covers the jobs that pay for them.

Do Limited cars need a license?

No. Every Limited car in the Robux shop carries the line "Any license drives it." For regular cars, the badge texts tie each group (drivers' cars, muscle and trucks, sports cars, supercars) to a license class. The full badge list, including Collector and Hypercar Club, is on the badges page.
