On this page
In blind but dangerous, one player is blindfolded and armed — the rest must hide and stay quiet. The developer group nεхus describes it as hide-and-seek with a shotgun. This page covers the two roles, the whistle mechanic, how Coins are earned and the Halloween event.
The two roles
The Blind Man
One player per round becomes the Blind Man. Per the developer description: one player "is blindfolded and armed." The Destructoid guide describes the Blind Man as "navigating a pitch-black world through sound." The goal is to find and eliminate all the hiders.
Winning as Blind Man earns Coins. The first blind man win badge is earned on the first successful round.
Hiders
All other players are hiders. The developer description says "the rest of you just have to stay quiet." The Destructoid guide says hiders can "push, grab, and use their friends as human shields." Surviving the round earns Coins.
The whistle mechanic
The urgametips.com guide notes that "hiders have to whistle on a timer, briefly giving away their hiding spot." This forces hiders to make a noise at intervals, giving the Blind Man a moment to locate them. The whistle interval is not specified in the official description.
How to win
- As a hider: survive until the round ends, or until the Blind Man runs out of time or is stopped. The survivor badge is earned by being the last hider alive.
- As the Blind Man: eliminate all hiders before the round ends.
Coins are awarded to the winning side each round.
Grabbing and pushing
The game supports grabbing and pushing. Badges include bully (push the same player 10 times in one match) and annoying hider (push the Blind Man 100 times total). The xoxo badge is earned by grabbing or being grabbed for more than 60 seconds.
The Exception
The close call badge references "The Exception" — using it on someone who will die in the next 3 seconds. This implies a power or item called The Exception exists, though it is not described in the official game listing.
Halloween event
The description says the Halloween event is live: new maps, Infected Mode and limited items. The Infected Mode name appears in the description. Specific map names are not listed.
Inspirations
The description cites "lurking - ctrl freak" and "hl2 - valve" as main inspirations.
Max players
8 players per server (Roblox API, read 3 November 2026). One of those is the Blind Man, leaving up to 7 hiders.
