It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any developer or publisher of the games it covers — Game Freak inc. and Fictions, Inc. for Beast of Reincarnation, Hound13 Inc. for DragonSword: Awakening, Mumpitz Games for Sir, We Have an Orc Problem, TEAM HORAY for Sephiria, or Bun Muen and Kwalee for Shift At Midnight. All game names, characters, images and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary only, under fair-use principles — never to suggest that a studio or publisher created, reviewed or approved this content.
Six hubs, one disclaimer
LootWiki is not a single wiki; it is a hub that gathers guide content for six games. Most of it is researched and written on separately run sites, one per game, and some hubs are written natively for LootWiki — see the game list on the homepage or the fuller account on the about page for how each was built. Each of those separate sites keeps its own editorial and disclaimer text for reasons specific to its own game, and this page states the rule that governs all of them once, at the level of the hub they feed. Reading a page here under a game's URL segment is the same, disclaimer-wise, as reading the equivalent page on that game's own site: the sourcing standard, the "unofficial" status and the limits on what any of it means are identical, because the underlying page is the same page. Hubs written natively for LootWiki have no separate site behind them, so this page is the disclaimer that applies to them directly.
Where our content comes from
Every guide starts from the sources described in our editorial policy: official store pages and developer announcements first, platform data such as Steam achievement statistics second, and our own play sessions in the current build of the game third. Community material — wikis, forum threads, videos — is treated as a lead to check, never republished as fact on its own. Where software tools (including AI-assisted drafting) help write or translate a page, a person still verifies every fact against a source before it publishes and is responsible for the result. Because each game hub is maintained and rebuilt on its own schedule, and this site mirrors that work rather than re-reporting it, a change made on a game's own hub reaches this hub only once its snapshot is refreshed here — usually automatically, occasionally by hand when something needs attention sooner. If a page you're reading here looks behind what you know is live on the source hub, that lag — not a factual error — is usually the explanation, and it is still worth a note through the contact page so we know to check.
How we verify, and what "unverified" means
A claim is verified when it traces to an official source, to platform data, or to something we confirmed ourselves in-game. When a detail is reported by players but has not cleared that bar — a rumoured drop rate, a community-estimated number nobody official has confirmed — the page says so in plain language rather than presenting it as settled fact; some pages label such figures explicitly as unconfirmed or community-reported. That label is not a hedge to avoid work, it is the honest state of the information: treat anything marked this way as a starting point for your own testing, not a guarantee.
Accuracy is dated, not permanent
We date our reviews and record the game version checked, but games are moving targets. Numbers, mechanics, prices and availability can change with any patch, regional storefront or platform difference, often faster than any guide site can track. Treat every guide as accurate as of its stated review date, not as a standing promise about the game's current state — if the live game disagrees with a page, the game is right and we want to hear about it through the contact page.
Purchases and opinions
Any opinion on whether a game is worth buying, or which edition to choose, is exactly that — an opinion, formed at a stated price and time, not financial or purchasing advice. Check the current price, platform, edition contents and regional availability on the official store before buying anything.
Advertising and affiliate links
This site is funded by display advertising served through an external ad network; that network chooses which ads appear, we choose the words on the page, and the two never meet — no advertiser previews a page before it publishes and no placement is sold against specific content. Where a page contains an affiliate link (a link that could earn the site a commission on a purchase), it is marked as such near the link itself. An affiliate relationship never changes a verdict: a game or product we would not recommend stays not-recommended whether or not a link on the page is affiliated.
How often this changes
This page is reviewed whenever our sourcing practices, advertising setup or affiliate relationships change, and at minimum whenever the editorial policy it references is revised. The "Last reviewed" date at the top reflects the most recent check, not a fixed schedule.
